Project Details

When CRAC units are removed for resale, we custom build sturdy pallets, wrapped and banded for safe transport. We also cap the pipes so there is no possibility of moisture getting in the fluids. The Glycol units came with dry coolers and pump packages. All equipment is cleaned and tested before shipping. Dry coolers and condensers can be refurbished prior to resale with new relays and motors. Just ask when ordering. Usually our estimator comes on site to take pictures before we submit a proposal. But in cases where the owner is taking pictures, take a picture of whole unit and a clear sharp picture of the data tag. Quantum also bought Glaxo’s Roof Top Units (Air Handlers) and resold them. Everything is either refurbished and resold or recycled. When we do a decommission we have very little trash. Even dry wall can be recycled. The generators were from 1987. We buy even very old generators and resell them, both diesel and natural gas. Quantum drained all of the diesel fuel, which is typically Red Diesel # 2.  The fuel was reused in construction equipment.  The inside of the building was transformed from a data center to a broom swept warehouse ready to turn back to the Landlord.
