Take the building down — and take it all the way
DeSimone Construction hired Quantum Technology to demolish a laboratory building in Bristol, Pennsylvania. The job wasn’t just knocking it down: the site had to be cleared of all debris, leveled, and prepared for planting grass.
Because Quantum does equipment removal, electrical and mechanical disconnect and interior demolition alongside exterior and building demolition — and has a strong global resale arm — it can monetize items a general demo contractor would send to landfill, which usually makes Quantum’s demo pricing much less expensive.

Check, clear, shear, recycle, restore
The crew first checked for asbestos and other hazards — in this case the building was clean. From there they cleared the interior debris, sheared the building down with a mini excavator, separated the debris into brick and metal for recycling, then raked the site, placed topsoil, seeded it and laid hay.
A clean lot, ready to green over
The building came down, the debris was recycled, and the site was handed back graded and seeded.
Down to bare, level ground
The building was sheared down and the lot cleared of all debris, leveled and ready for its next use.
Debris recycled, not dumped
Brick and metal were separated out for recycling — part of why Quantum’s demo pricing comes in lower.
Seeded and handed back
The crew raked, placed topsoil, seeded and laid hay — leaving the site ready to grow in as green space.
