Every phase, handled by one crew
Lifenet Health is a non-profit global leader in regenerative medicine and the world’s largest provider of allograft bio-implants and organs for transplantation. In July 2022, Quantum completed a full data center decommissioning at its facility in Virginia.
Quantum handled all phases of the project — from electrical shutdown and tag out to freon recovery, rooftop removal of the condenser farm, and the disconnect and removal of all data center infrastructure. Every material was routed to resale or recycling, so the project generated no waste.
Every material pulled from the facility was re-sold or recycled — no waste was generated on the project.
All phases of the decommission
A single Quantum crew carried the project from power-down to final removal.
“It was a pleasure working with Jose (Quantum’s foreman) and his team, they were professional and didn’t mind going the extra mile to get the job done in a short timeframe. Thanks again.”
Cleared cleanly, with nothing wasted
The facility was fully decommissioned on a short timeline, with every material put back into use or recycled.
Every phase in-house
From electrical shutdown and tag out through rooftop condenser removal, one crew carried the whole project.
No waste generated
All materials were re-sold or recycled — nothing from the project went to landfill.
Done on a short timeline
The client credited the crew with going the extra mile to complete the work in a short timeframe.
