The old equipment pays for the new
Buying an existing building and converting it? The infrastructure inside has value. We assess what is on site, make an offer, and remove it at no cost to you. That recovered value comes back as a credit toward your new equipment order. One partner takes the old out and puts the new in, and the check you would have written for demolition shrinks.

At the CoreWeave 11 NEST project in Kenilworth, NJ, Quantum worked with general contractor HITT to remove two 1,200-ton chillers, switchgear, and a generator from a lower-level mechanical plant.

Low voltage
Up to 1 kV. Panelboards, busway, rack and floor PDUs, UPS systems, automatic transfer switches, and distribution switchgear.
Medium voltage
1 kV to 35 kV. Metal-clad switchgear, pad-mount and unit substation transformers, vacuum breakers, load interrupter switches, and medium-voltage generators.
High voltage
Above 35 kV. Substation transformers and high-voltage breakers for campus and hyperscale sites.

Greenfield or brownfield, the physical layer of a data center is the same work we have been doing in reverse for 30 years. We install, terminate, and commission the infrastructure that the equipment plugs into, and we handle the regulated material that comes out of the old room on the way.
Fiber, in and out
Fiber is one of the most valuable and most frequently abandoned assets in a decommissioning. We recover it, test it, and resell it, and we pull and terminate new runs for the sites being built. Single-mode and multi-mode, trunk and patch, indoor and outside plant.
